The architecture of the house, with its modern, layered balconies, is very characteristic of the hillside residential areas in Los Angeles. The presence of large agave plants and lush, manicured hedges suggests a Mediterranean-influenced climate typical of Southern California. The steep concrete stairs integrated into the hillside are a signature feature of many neighborhoods in the Hollywood Hills or Silver Lake areas. The bright, clear sky and strong sun are consistent with a sunny day in California. I am fairly confident this is in Los Angeles, California.
