The signs clearly display Japanese characters, including "難波本通" (Namba Hontori). The street sign on the left also explicitly says "Namba 3-chome". This is clearly in the Namba district of Osaka, Japan. The architecture and the covered shopping arcade entrance are very characteristic of this area. I am very sure of this location.
