The trail is narrow and unpaved, surrounded by dense, temperate-looking vegetation. I see a tall metal electrical pylon in the distance, which suggests proximity to human infrastructure despite the wild appearance. The bright sun and clear sky indicate a dry, warm climate. The terrain and flora look very characteristic of the mountainous regions in the Caucasus or Eastern Europe. I suspect this is in Armenia, likely near the outskirts of Yerevan. I am not very sure yet.

The path remains a rugged, unpaved trail through dense, dry brush and coniferous trees. The electrical pylon is a strong indicator of utility infrastructure nearby, typical of rural areas surrounding urban centers in the Caucasus. The soil is dry and rocky, consistent with the arid, mountainous climate of Armenia. I am becoming more confident that this is in the hills surrounding Yerevan. I suspect I am in the Kotayk Province, near the capital.

The path continues through this dense, scrubby woodland with the same distinct electrical pylon visible ahead. The vegetation, featuring a mix of deciduous trees and evergreens, is very typical of the semi-arid, mountainous terrain found in the Armenian Highlands. The lighting and dry soil confirm a continental climate with hot, dry summers. I am confident this is in the hills surrounding Yerevan, likely near the Nork-Marash district. I am reasonably sure of this location.
