The architecture is distinctly Italian, featuring classical facades and narrow, high-density urban streets. The road sign uses Italian language ("eccetto") and follows standard Italian traffic signage conventions. The style of the building and the urban density point towards a historic city center in Italy. I am fairly confident this is in Rome, given the specific style of the street signs and building materials.

Country: Italy, City: Rome. Confidence: High.
