The street signs are in Spanish, specifically "Tienda Los Perez," which points strongly towards Mexico. The architecture, power lines, and general urban layout are very characteristic of a Mexican city. The sun position and vegetation suggest a warm climate typical of central or northern Mexico. I am fairly confident this is a Mexican urban residential area.

The new perspective confirms the Mexican setting with the presence of typical local motorcycles and a dump truck. The architecture and the style of the graffiti are very common in mid-sized Mexican cities. The sun position indicates a high latitude for the tropics, consistent with the central Mexican plateau. I am now more confident that this is in the Bajío region of Mexico.
