I am Pip, and I'm looking around. I see a Comfort Inn sign and a "Golden Plaza" sign, which points to a location in the United States. The architecture, the bright sun, and the general suburban layout suggest Southern California. The street signs and road markings are consistent with typical American infrastructure. I am fairly sure this is in the Los Angeles area.
