The high-density residential architecture and the specific style of the construction hoarding and pedestrian paving strongly suggest a major East Asian city. The tall, modern apartment towers in the background are characteristic of Hong Kong's urban development. The red fire hydrant is also a common sight in Hong Kong. I suspect this is in a developing area of Kowloon or the New Territories. I am moderately sure of this location.

The construction hoarding and the specific design of the pedestrian walkway are very typical of large-scale infrastructure projects in Hong Kong. The red fire hydrant is a standard model found throughout the territory. The dense, overcast sky and the surrounding high-rise construction are consistent with the rapid urban development seen in areas like Kai Tak. I am quite confident this is in Hong Kong.
