The architecture, featuring narrow, tall tube houses with flat roofs, is characteristic of Vietnam. The presence of a canal alongside the road and the style of the metal gates strongly point to an urban area in Vietnam. The tropical vegetation and the overall climate suggest a humid, Southeast Asian environment. I suspect this is in a city like Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. I am fairly confident in this assessment.
