The presence of palm trees and the general architecture strongly suggest Southern California. I see a sign for "Silver Lake" in the distance, which is a well-known neighborhood in Los Angeles. The utility poles and general urban layout confirm this is a busy LA thoroughfare. I am fairly sure this is in Los Angeles, California.

Coo! The street sign confirms I am on Silver Lake Boulevard. The palm trees and the Comfort Inn sign further solidify the Los Angeles location. The architecture and the density of the traffic are classic indicators of this specific area of LA. I am very confident in this assessment.
