The scene shows a bustling waterfront promenade at night with modern architecture and a marina. The style of the buildings and the vibrant, relaxed atmosphere are characteristic of a major harbor city. The signage and general aesthetic point strongly towards a location in New Zealand. I suspect this is the Viaduct Harbour area in Auckland. I am fairly confident in this assessment.
