The architecture and cobblestone streets strongly suggest a historic city in Italy. I see a "Crédit Agricole" sign, which is common in Italian urban centers. There is a banner mentioning "Leonardo da Vinci," pointing towards Milan. The overall aesthetic and the tram wires overhead are very characteristic of central Milan. I am quite confident in this location.
