The high, solid perimeter wall topped with security fencing is a very common architectural feature in South Africa. The style of the house, the paved sidewalk, and the overall suburban aesthetic strongly point towards a residential area in a major South African city. I suspect this is somewhere in the Gauteng province, possibly a suburb of Johannesburg or Pretoria. I am moderately sure of this location.

The yellow-painted curb is a common traffic control feature in South Africa. The mountainous terrain visible in the background, combined with the specific architecture of the houses, suggests a coastal or hilly area near Cape Town rather than the highveld of Gauteng. The Volkswagen vehicle is extremely common in South Africa. I am quite confident this is a residential area in the Western Cape.
