I see a Coca-Cola vending machine with Japanese text and a shop display with Japanese characters, which strongly points to Japan. The address plate "39-1" is typical of the Japanese block-numbering system. The aesthetic of the shop and the vending machine is very characteristic of a Japanese urban street at night. I am quite confident this is in a major Japanese city, likely Tokyo.
