The cars are driving on the right side of the road, and the yellow center lines are characteristic of North America. The signage is in English, specifically advertising a personal injury lawyer, which is very common in the United States. The yellow fire hydrant and the specific style of the utility poles and streetlights point towards a suburban or industrial area in California. The hilly terrain in the background and the overall light quality suggest the San Francisco Bay Area. I am reasonably sure this is in the East Bay region.

The sign for "Nick's Cafe" at 1300 Elmyra St is a very specific landmark. The street sign clearly identifies the intersection as Elmyra St. The surrounding landscape, including the dry hills and the specific style of the utility infrastructure, confirms my suspicion of the California Bay Area. I am very confident this is in the city of Hayward.
