The tall, dark fence with security spikes on top is very characteristic of residential areas in South Africa. The architecture of the house behind the fence also aligns with suburban styles found in major South African cities. The vegetation and the stone wall base suggest a temperate or Mediterranean climate typical of the Western Cape. I suspect this is in Cape Town, South Africa. I am moderately sure.

The sign clearly reads "Gilmour Hill," which is a specific street name in Cape Town. The "STOP" road marking is painted in the standard South African style. The steep, hilly terrain and the architecture confirm the Tamboerskloof or Gardens area of Cape Town. I am very sure of this location.
